The Big Park” Wallball Back to School Tournament

Wallball and Basketball made for a great day of unity in the Mariners Harbor community. Youth Handball and Basketball clinics were held in the morning hours of a perfect Summer day. USWA, JMT Media and True 2 Life provided over 300 backpacks filled with school supplies for the children of Staten Island. Through the afternoon 64 Participants competed on the newly built Handball courts to be Champions of the Wallball “B” doubles tournament.

 Just a few feet from the handball courts intense basketball was being played in memory of longtime resident of Mariners Harbor Coach Kokomoe Joe. Middle School, High School and Pro Division athletes put on a show for spectators.
