In this April 2019 interview, Nicholas Rosado describes moving from basketball into handball and discovering a community that encouraged him to keep improving. He reflects on the mental challenge of adapting to different opponents and the welcome he found at West 4th Street.
The conversation also connects sport with his creativity and ambitions for the next generation. He discusses his hope for a facility in Staten Island and calls for players to share their training and support one another online. These are his aspirations at the time of the original recording, not claims that those projects have since been completed.
