Kadeem Bush

“Today is life-the only life you are sure of. Make the most of today. Get interested in something. Shake yourself awake. Develop a hobby. Let the winds of enthusiasm sweep through you. Live today with gusto.”

-Dale Carnegie

Congratulations to our New Player of the Week – Kadeem Ahmad Bush. Kadeem Bush was born on November 26, 1993. He is a nineteen year old inspiring teenager who graduated Edward R. Murrow High School in 2011. Kadeem’s future career after college is to become an accountant. With handball keeping him focused and off the streets, Kadeem will surely accomplish his goal.

Kadeem was first introduced to handball when he was 13 at Gersh Park in Brooklyn, New York. Kadeem now plays in all boroughs in the summer and spring time. During the winter you can catch him in two of the most populated indoor handball facilities; Zerega, located in the Bronx and GUZ, located in Brooklyn.

Kadeem is a great role model for his peers and young children alike. He has a positive attitude and is always humble. Kadeem has great sportsmanship. He plays the sport to have fun, whether the outcome is to win or lose, he still enjoys playing handball.

When asked, how does handball make you feel?

He replied “I feel relieved. I play when I’m stress or bored. Handball is a good hobby.”

Kadeem wants to let younger children know “Handball keeps you occupied and off the streets. Get into handball because you will always have something to do.”

Kadeem’s goal for handball this year is to become an “A” Player. With his enthusiasm and love for the game of handball he will successfully achieve this goal!

Congratulations to our new “Player of the Week” Kadeem Ahmad Bush!
