Originally from the south side of Chicago, Dr. Hoskins has always held a strong fascination with science, which he believes fueled his interest in pursuing a career in medicine. After graduating high school he attended Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN then obtained his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. Dr. Hoskins’ love of science and experience of being active in sports during childhood, high school and college made choosing a career as an orthopedic physician easy.
Dr. Hoskins started his medical career at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles County Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. He also completed a research fellowship in the spine section of the Department of Orthopedics at Rush Medical Center in Chicago, IL. In that position, he was able to publish several peer reviewed articles and book chapters in the field of Orthopedic Spine Surgery.
Currently, Dr. Hoskins is a physician in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at New York Presbyterian-Lower Manhattan Hospital, NY, NY.
